Most of the time when you hear say someone that they had a internet device get hacked, unfortunately it was their own fault, lack of strong password, or maybe clicking on a phishing link. Another thing to consider is that it is not easy to hack into a security system without the password, it would be very rare that your security system would be hacked, with a secure password in place.
